Marloo is an AI-assistant that empowers financial advisers to focus on what matters: building client relationships and growing revenue. We are building an AI-native system of record to shift advisers from "doers" to "reviewers" by being hyper-specialised for financial advice. Quality financial advice changes the trajectory of families' most important life decisions.
As Founding Engineer, you'll establish the foundational software architecture that addresses our core user needs while building the platform from inception. You'll become the codebase authority and significantly influence the product roadmap. The position offers dual growth pathways — advancing as either a principal engineer or engineering leader with mentorship from founders and experienced operators.

What you'll do
Full-stack development
Build and own core product features end-to-end. You'll work across the stack, from backend infrastructure to frontend experiences, with a bias toward shipping fast and iterating.
Architecture ownership
Establish foundational patterns and technical decisions that will scale with the company. You'll be the codebase authority and shape the engineering culture.
Product collaboration
Work directly with founders to translate user needs into technical solutions. Your business acumen and product intuition matter as much as your coding ability.
AI-native development
Use AI tools daily for architecting, building, and debugging across stacks. We expect you to be a power user of modern AI development tools.
