About Marloo

Marloo is an AI-assistant that empowers financial advisers to focus on what matters: building client relationships and growing revenue. We are building an AI-native system of record to shift advisers from "doers" to "reviewers" by being hyper-specialised for financial advice.

We're looking for an Operations Associate to own day-to-day customer support and operations. You'll be the connective tissue between our product, our customers, and our team – making sure advisers love using Marloo and that nothing falls through the cracks.

This is a full-time role designed for exceptional early career professionals who want real responsibility at a fast-moving startup.

Salary range

$70-80k NZD depending on experience. Exceptions on a case-by-case basis and determined relative to open compensation standards. Happy to discuss what that would look like for you specifically during our interview process.

What you'll do

Customer success

Ensure that advisers using Marloo are set up for success and experience delight when they use the product. Troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and make sure every interaction leaves them feeling supported.

Operations

Keep the machine running. Invoicing, onboarding workflows, internal processes – you'll spot what's broken and fix it.

Customer insights

Surface patterns from support conversations to the product team. Your observations will directly shape what we build.

General pitching in

We're building a team of highly empowered doers. Everyone pitches in on the random tasks that pop up along the way.

You're a fit if

  • You want direct exposure to all aspects of building and scaling a company
  • You're comfortable with high ownership and responsibility
  • You have burning ambition and drive for significant achievement
  • You turn ambiguity into your secret weapon: you dive in, take charge, and figure things out
  • You can clearly empathise with financial advisers and communicate the value of Marloo
  • You don't need to be experienced in financial services, but some understanding of the industry would be helpful
  • You want to eventually shape your own role and journey
  • Willing to prioritise in-person collaboration. Also able to travel internationally as needed
